24XX ASSASSINS

YOU ARE AN ASSASSIN, a member of the original Order of Assassins: the Nizari Ismaili sect of Alamut. On all sides are enemies. You have been chosen to make them one fewer.

A history based look at the group that spawned the name Assassin using the 24xx system. Player Characters are Fida'i, devotees of the sect that have been chosen to preform an assassination attack on one of their enemies. Ideal for one shot play with a small group of players (1-3).

It has all the things that one would expect out of a 24xx game: randomizer tables for the players' objective and the details around it, simple but adaptable character creation through choices of traits, origin, and gear, and the simple but effect rule system that made this format popular. But in addition to those expected features this contains a section of historical context for the period (with actual academic sources) and special rules around NPC assassins and character death.
